I have always believed that the most powerful stories do more than capture attention—they make people feel something, remember something, and, at their best, become part of history. That belief has shaped my career as a storyteller and now guides my work as Creative Director of The J. Francis Group.

My work lives at the intersection of creative direction, visual storytelling, content strategy, photography, videography, social media, and digital audience development. At The J. Francis Group, I oversee the firm’s social media and creative team, helping ensure that the stories we tell—both for our firm and our clients—are intentional, strategic, and aligned with the larger vision of the organization.

One of the things I value most about my role is that creative strategy does not operate in a silo. I work alongside the firm’s senior leadership and directly with clients because we understand that operational strategy and media strategy must move together. How an organization operates, grows, communicates, and presents itself to the world should tell one cohesive story. My responsibility is to help pull those pieces together—translating strategy into stories people can see, understand, remember, and act upon.

That work has also created a unique creative partnership between me and our CEO & Managing Partner, Ja’Von F. Glenn. Within the firm, we have become known as a dynamic duo when it comes to taking an idea from vision to execution—combining strategic thinking with creative storytelling to bring the vision to life. Whether we are shaping a client brand, developing a campaign, producing an event, or capturing a defining moment, our shared goal is to make sure the final product does more than look good—it communicates purpose, creates connection, and advances the larger strategy.

I graduated early from Wayne State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism, where I developed a strong foundation in writing, storytelling, editing, production, and audience-centered communication. My newsroom experience as a writer with Local 4 News and FOX 2 News further sharpened my ability to recognize the story within the moment and communicate it with clarity, purpose, and impact.

Since then, I have expanded that foundation into a multidisciplinary career in digital media. Through my company, The Ainaed Vision, I have worked with businesses, organizations, faith communities, civic leaders, political campaigns, and community institutions throughout Metro Detroit. My political and civic work is especially meaningful to me because campaigns are about more than elections—they are moments in the life of a city and its people. Through photography, video, and digital storytelling, I have the opportunity to document leadership, movements, milestones, and moments that help capture history as it is being made.

My approach combines creativity with measurable results. I helped Embassy Covenant Church International gain more than 1,000 followers in one year and supported Aroma Worship in achieving four viral content moments, reaching more than 190,000 people, and gaining approximately 1,600 followers in twelve months. Most recently, my social media strategy for Detroit Councilwoman Renata Miller generated approximately 300,000 page views in two months, grew the account from 90 to 272 followers, and produced viral content exceeding 40,000 combined views.

Since beginning professional photography in 2022 and formally launching The Ainaed Vision in 2024, I have captured weddings, brands, civic initiatives, community events, and major institutional moments. My portfolio includes videography for Detroit Means Business, content creation for Cranbrook’s 59th and 60th anniversary celebrations, wedding photography collaborations with Kyra and Dee Wedding Photography, and brand and event photography supporting Detroit's Historic Boston-Edison Community, The Sherwood Forest Community, the Detroit Historic Districts Association, and GT Coffee Company.

At The J. Francis Group, I bring these experiences together as both a creative leader and subject-matter expert in visual and digital storytelling. I work alongside our senior leadership, consultants, and clients to ensure that branding, media, and content are not treated as an afterthought, but as strategic business assets capable of strengthening credibility, expanding visibility, building community, and supporting long-term growth.

For me, the camera is more than a tool, and content is more than something we post. Every organization has a story. Every vision deserves the right strategy to bring it to life. And every meaningful moment deserves to be captured in a way that leaves an impact long after the moment has passed.
